Finally, you can also check out our home page Live Help drop down menu. If there is an agent available the system will say Live Help Available. You can click on talk to an agent by text about your enquiry. If a translator is available, you can also chat to them this way.
Please click on Available Languages on the left menu to see our current list of around 40 main international languages. We will be adding more all the time. If you do not see the language you need, please contact us at admin@languageshelp.com and we will try to arrange someone for you as quickly as we can.
Our SMS texting translation service has not been officially launched, but we are happy to allow our clients to use try out our sms translation service if you know you're going somewhere without internet access and would like to be able to have SMS text messages translated.
Simply send your message in English or your foreign languages (make sure we support that language). We would like to see how useful this service can be. You can even use it to send us something written on an information board or a bill you have received in foreign language that you don't understand.
To send us a text message to be translated, you must enter the following details before your message in this order:
- our account number 30112946 then a space! (the space is crucial for us to get the message)
- Your username i.e. worlddreamer
- The language pair you translating to/from i.e. french/english or english/french,
- Then your message of around 120 characters. As long as the whole message fits into 1 sms text
Example sms text to send us:
30112946 Yourusername English/Bulgarian Dear Architect, can you please contact us as soon as possible, we have been waiting for your call now for 1 weekend
Then send the text message to: +447786200161
You can send us a text from anywhere in the world. As soon as we receive it, we will put it through your account, points will be deducted according to the amount of words in the message. and send you a translated text back within 24/48 hours depending on when it was received.
Please ensure you have entered the same mobile number into My Account section now and add your mobile as your main or alternative phone number so we can verify that the text translation is from you and valid to take it off your account points.
In case you need to use this service while you're away, the easiest thing to do is to copy the above format exactly into a draft sms message on your mobile phone and save it in your drafts folder. You can then use that message as a template whenever you are away and need it most. Ensure you replace the ‘Yourusername’ with your own username from the LanguagesHelp website.
We will text you back to confirm that we have received your sms text translation with as much information on deadlines as we can.
1 text translation will fit approximately 23 words which will cost between
7-10 points (from £1.50, $2.70 on our lowest package).
This service may help you out of very important situations. Please do make a note of our example text above for future reference and make sure you have enough points in your account before you leave on any trip.
We aim for a 24 hour (or earlier) turnaround for translations of up to 500 words. To be able to provide this across all languages, we have 2 deadline times for receipt of quick translations.
Currently European (and non-Asian) languages have a daily deadline of 18hrs GMT.
Asian languages have a daily deadline of 12 noon GMT.
We have provided countdown timers on the top left of the menu area to show you when you need to submit translations by to have them back in 24 hours or earlier. After this deadline, translations will take up to 48 hours or less.
We cannot offer live 24 hour translation for all languages at this point. As we determine which languages or areas are most popular, we will begin to offer 24 live translations without the need to book a call first. Until then, you will always need to either book a call or call our main no + 44 (0)870 446 4357 to see if we can arrange something quickly for you.
If you want to cancel a booked call, simply contact us as at cancelcall@languageshelp.com soon as you can. We ask for at least 1 hours notice of cancelling. Any less than 1 hour's notice, we reserve the right to deduct 50% of the intended book call cost in points from your account. Language Practice is for anyone who would like to pick up any amount of practice in a foreign language. Even if you are a complete beginner wanting to pick up a few words in a new language before you travel, you are welcome to use this service. All our agents speak English fluently so you can ask them as many questions as you like.
Our Homework Help service is for anyone of any age currently learning a language; whether at home, school, college, university or at work.
If you would prefer to email your enquiry rather than book a call, then yes simply send us an email to homework@languageshelp.com or use the contact us box on the left menu. We will email you back with an answer to your homework Help question. Points will be deducted for the amount of time it took our translators to research and answer your question.
All our agents worldwide have broadband internet access. You can use our agents to find any information large or small: from hotel, tourism or travel information, to more complex business research such as manufacturers of local products or business services. Want to get a electronic prototype made in China, we can help you research the right company for you and then interpret all you needs to them.
Simply fill in the form at website translations after receiving your quote. Your details will be sent to us and we will contact you with the procedure we suggest for translating all the copy on your current website.
